Hey everyone! Quick post because part of LipGloss Lit is going on a field trip. (Sorry, Mandy. I'll miss you madly.)

Okay, so here are three sort of interesting facts about me:

1) I played college volleyball. This means I can spin a volleyball on my index finger, like Pistol Pete with a basketball only not as well.

2) I am trying to learn how to play the guitar. So far, I can rock like four notes.

3) When I was in eighth grade, I won the school spelling bee. I went on to the county one and was in the top three when I mispelled DAIRY because I was talking so fast. First place got about $100; second place got $50; I got $3. And here's my video!

Three Interesting (or, you know, weird) Facts About Mary:

1. In high school she was in a production of West Side Story - she played Velma. ...her big line? "Ooo-ooobilie-ooo." Yeah, Broadway, watch out.

2. She's a super taster. Yep. That's a real thing. You don't get a cape or fun outfit, but you do have a legit excuse for hating broccoli.

3. This summer, she's headed to Sweden for three weeks! She's crossing her fingers that the blonde hair doesn't get her mistaken for a real Swede. Since she speaks zero Swedish. (Unless driving a Volvo counts. It doesn't, right?)

Lip Gloss Lit: The Beginning

So.

Here's the story.

A couple days ago, Suz, Merry and I were chilling and talking about important life issues.

Anyway, one of us was like, "OMG. We should totally do a group blog. And call it Lip Gloss Lit."

And the other two were like, "YES, DEFINITELY."

Which, of course, made me VERY happy since I'd been bugging my writer buds to vlog since, I don't know, FOREVER. If forever was, like, a month ago.

And now, without further ado, we introduce the mayhem that is three YA writers being ridiculous on film.

We'll be discussing writing, lip gloss, and anything else we feel like chit-chatting about.
